Strategically located near one of Florida’s hottest vacation destinations, the city of Port Orange is less than five miles south of Daytona Beach.

With excellent visibility from I-95 and interstate access, the center is located off of Dunlawton Avenue, one of three major thoroughfares to the beach.

More than 33% of the manufacturing workforce are employed in the following high-income industries:

  • Engineering and production of products such as disposable medical and surgical supplies
  • Robotic pharmaceutical dosing systems
  • Biohazard containment for public health and military applications

Port Orange recently developed a new business park called Northport, an upscale development. Northport is currently being marketed to high-tech industries that will provide generous wages, training, and career opportunities to the market area.

The Pavilion will be a leading regional shopping center in southern Volusia County with a trade area covering all of Daytona’s beaches and the communities of Daytona Beach, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater and all of southern and western Volusia County. The center will build on the success of CBL's Volusia Mall and fill the growing need for additional retail, dining and entertainment options.

Volusia County is bordered on the west by the historic St. Johns River, and by the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Roughly the size of Rhode Island, Volusia County is situated 50 miles northeast of Orlando, 60 miles north   of the Kennedy Space Center, and 89 miles south of Jacksonville.

Volusia County’s Central Florida location, at the apex of I-95 and I-4, enhances the ability for distribution centers to serve the Miami, Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville markets.

The Pavilion’s total trade area is continuing to experience steady growth. By 2012, the total trade area population is projected to climb to 530,184.

Tourism is the area’s leading industry, hosting more than eight million tourists annually. Area attractions include Daytona International Speedway, NASCAR Headquarters, and the area’s famous beaches.
